Rita Ora has had a sensational 2012 scoring a No. 1 album with "ORA" and 3 UK No. 1 singles with "R.I.P.", "How We Do (Party)" and with DJ Fresh on "Hot Right Now". The follow up to the 4th single to be released from her debut "Shine Ya Light", which reached No. 10 after an X Factor performance last month, Greg Kurstin-produced "Radioactive" takes Rita into dance territory with its thumping backing track. The single, written by a songwriter who has had an incredible year, David Guetta, Ne-Yo and Rihanna collaborator Sia Furler, features an anthemic chorus and really highlights the vocal capabilities of the Kosovan-born starlet. Look for this to be soaring up the download charts and the UK Top 40 in the coming months!
Singer-songwriter Holly Brook-Haferman AKA Skylar Grey first rose to fame as the featured artist and writer of Dr. Dre's "I Need A Doctor", Diddy-Dirty Money's "Coming Home", and as the songwriter of Eminem and Rihanna's worldwide hit "Love The Way You Lie". After releasing trailer single "Invisible" from her forthcoming second album "Don't Look Down" (her first as Skylar Grey), Skylar is ready to release the lead single from the cut, the Alex Da Kid produced "C'Mon Let Me Ride" featuring none other than Eminem. The "Bicycle Race" sampling track, with its fun lyrics and ridiculously catchy pop chorus, is certainly a new direction for her, as she is known for her more melancholic style and soaring vocals. This is certainly a track to watch over the new year - and looks a near shoe-in for chart success in early 2013!
