Rita Ora - Radioactive

Rita Ora has had a sensational 2012 scoring a No. 1 album with "ORA" and 3 UK No. 1 singles with "R.I.P.", "How We Do (Party)" and with DJ Fresh on "Hot Right Now". The follow up to the 4th single to be released from her debut "Shine Ya Light", which reached No. 10 after an X Factor performance last month, Greg Kurstin-produced "Radioactive" takes Rita into dance territory with its thumping backing track. The single, written by a songwriter who has had an incredible year, David Guetta, Ne-Yo and Rihanna collaborator Sia Furler, features an anthemic chorus and really highlights the vocal capabilities of the Kosovan-born starlet. Look for this to be soaring up the download charts and the UK Top 40 in the coming months!

Skylar Grey Feat. Eminem - C'mon Let Me Ride

Singer-songwriter Holly Brook-Haferman AKA Skylar Grey first rose to fame as the featured artist and writer of Dr. Dre's "I Need A Doctor", Diddy-Dirty Money's "Coming Home", and as the songwriter of Eminem and Rihanna's worldwide hit "Love The Way You Lie". After releasing trailer single "Invisible" from her forthcoming second album "Don't Look Down" (her first as Skylar Grey), Skylar is ready to release the lead single from the cut, the Alex Da Kid produced "C'Mon Let Me Ride" featuring none other than Eminem. The "Bicycle Race" sampling track, with its fun lyrics and ridiculously catchy pop chorus, is certainly a new direction for her, as she is known for her more melancholic style and soaring vocals. This is certainly a track to watch over the new year - and looks a near shoe-in for chart success in early 2013!

Amelia Lily - Shut Up (And Give Me Whatever You Got)

X Factor 2011 graduate Amelia Lily scored a UK No. 2 hit back in September with her dance-influenced debut single "You Bring Me Joy". The music video for her second single "Shut Up (And Give Me Whatever You Got)" to be taken from her forthcoming debut album has just premiered online, and is definitely more along the lines of what people were expecting. The Xenomania produced track features a bouncy pop-rock tinged backing track with electro-influenced synths, infectious chorus and showcases Amelia Lily's strong vocals. Regarding the video itself, according to Amelia Lily, "There is a lot more attitude in there and it's a lot darker". Am really liking this track at the moment - maybe when it is released in January next year it will go one better and get Amelia Lily her first UK No. 1 single?

Rihanna - Jump (Produced by Chase & Status)

Bajan superstar Rihanna has just released her seventh studio album "Unapologetic" after scoring another worldwide hit with the Sia Furler ("Titanium") penned track "Diamonds". "Unapologetic" sold 100,000 copies in the UK and 238,000 in the US to debut at No. 1 on both album charts. The album is highly varied in styles, and ranges from hip-hop to dance and dubstep to ballads. A track which stood out for me is the Chase & Status and Stargate produced "Jump". The combination of the two producers' production worked wonders on the UK No. 1 hit "R.I.P." for Rita Ora earlier in the year, and certainly does not disappoint here. Featuring a sample from US R&B singer Ginuwine's 1996 hit "Pony", dark synths, and a mental and oh-so-current dubstep breakdown accompanied by frenzied chants of the track's title, "Jump" could further cement Miss Fenty as the world's biggest popstar.

Calvin Harris Feat. Tinie Tempah - Drinking From The Bottle

Scottish superstar DJ and producer Calvin Harris released his 3rd studio album "18 Months" on Monday, after scoring his 2nd solo UK No. 1 last week with his Florence Welch collaboration "Sweet Nothing". A collaboration on the album that has certainly got the blogosphere talking is "Drinking From The Bottle" featuring UK hip-hop/grime star Tinie Tempah. The track, with its euphoric trance synths, which Tinie has performed at various recent live dates, is not a million miles from his 2010 No. 4 smash with Swedish House Mafia "Miami 2 Ibiza", and will no doubt prove to be a floorfiller on the club circuit over the next few months. Harris and Tinie will perform the track on the upcoming episode of the Jonathan Ross show, leading many to believe that this will be the next cut to be taken from 18 Months. Needless to say, the track will most likely rocket up the download charts and provide yet another UK top 10 hit for both artists!

Priyanka Chopra Feat. Will.I.Am - In My City (Produced by RedOne)

Stunning Bollywood superstar and ex-Miss World Priyanka Chopra has it all! Especially as now the Indian triple-threat has signed a major record deal with Universal and Lady GaGa's manager Troy Carter and is about to release her debut single "In My City" featuring none other than Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.I.Am. The RedOne produced track (who incidentally has produced her debut album), with its subtle Indian-flavoured twists, thumping club beats, feel-good lyrics and warm melodies pays homage to all the cities where she grew up. The track has already sold a bucketload in her native India and looks like it might do the same over here! Needless to say, Priyanka is tipped to be the first Bollywood artist to crossover and to hit it big on the worldwide charts, and this is definitely a good start!

Disclosure Feat. Sam Smith - Latch

British garage house-duo and brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence AKA Disclosure are on the the verge of having their first commercial crossover hit with "Latch" featuring vocalist Sam Smith after hitting No. 26 on the UK top 40 last week. The house-influenced track features a bouncy minimalistic beat and a pounding bassline, complemented by the soulful vocals of newcomer Smith which add up to give the charts a fresh-sounding piece of dance music, away from the domination of hugely successful hip-hop influenced tracks from artists such as David Guetta and LMFAO. With "Latch" moving into the top 10 on iTunes, perhaps the track will move into the upper echelons of the UK top 40 within the coming weeks. Enjoy!

ADELE - Skyfall (Official James Bond theme)

The musical accompaniment to the opening credits of the films based Ian Fleming's womanising British spy James Bond has almost become as famous as the film series itself, with the crème de la crème of international talent lending their vocals over the years. Such artists as Dame Shirley Bassey, Sir Tom Jones, Madonna, Tina Turner and Sheryl Crow have all scored international hits with their offerings the hugely successful espionage franchise. 2012 sees the release of "Skyfall", the third film to feature Daniel Craig as 007 since 2006's "Casino Royale". Along with it, after selling 24 million copies of her phenomenally successful sophomore album "21", Adele, perhaps the most successful female vocalist of the moment, has had the honour of recording the title track. Co-written by herself and "Rolling In The Deep" collaborator Paul Epworth, "Skyfall" is an instantly recognisable Bond theme and interpolates the original John Barry composition cleverly into an epic string and brass ensemble driven number topped off with Adele's trademark soulful and smokey vocals. The track, which has already been met with critical acclaim, shot to No. 1 on iTunes charts around the world, including the UK and US, only hours after its release on 5th October at 12.07am and looks to chart highly on this week's Official UK Top 40 despite only being available for two full days of sales. A brilliant Bond theme and perhaps over the coming weeks will become the first track from the series to hit No. 1. Enjoy!

Little Mix - DNA

The X-Factor's first victorious group Little Mix scored a UK No. 1 hit last month with their über-catchy Beyoncé influenced debut single "Wings". Now Jesy, Jade, Perrie and Leigh-Anne have just premiered the second single and title-track to be taken from their forthcoming debut album "DNA" to be released on 19th December on Cowell's Syco label. The track gives a nod to Katy Perry's No. 3 hit "E.T.", with its hard-hitting dubstep-esque beat, club-influenced synths and bassline and anthemic chorus. The track also features an interesting use of a classical choir which takes the track to another level. Needless to say the D-D-D-DNA hook in the chorus will probably get stuck in your head after a few listens! I predict another massive No. 1 record for the girls, which will further solidify their status as one of the biggest girl-groups in the country right now!

Robbie Williams - Candy

The ubiquitous Mr. Robbie Williams is about to release the lead single "Candy" from his 9th solo studio album, and first with new record label Universal, "Take The Crown". According to Robbie himself, "Candy" is "a summer song about a girl who thinks she's great. And she might be, but she's a bit nefarious with her ways". Co-written by Take That band-mate and X Factor judge Gary Barlow, the track is a little ray of sunshine at the end of a largely unpredictable British summer featuring a hugely infectious chorus and snappy lyrics from the talented lyricists. Robbie has said that his new album is full of global hits - perhaps this will live up to expectations?

Leona Lewis Feat. Childish Gambino - Trouble

Perhaps The X-Factor's most successful winner since triumphing way back in 2006, Leona Lewis has gone on to sell millions of records around the world, largely thanks to her multi-million selling breakthrough single "Bleeding Love". Leona is now preparing to release the second single "Trouble" to be taken her third LP "Glass Heart" after the Avicii collaboration "Collide" hit No. 4 in September last year. Featuring a highly effective turn from US rapper Childish Gambino (AKA Donald Glover), the Emeli Sandé penned and Naughty Boy/Fraser T Smith produced track takes influence from 90s trip-hop and effortlessly fuses Massive Attack-esque beats with Lewis' stirring and powerful vocals to create something that is perhaps a step in the right direction for her. Enjoy!

Mika Feat. Pharrell Williams - Celebrate (Produced by Nick Littlemore of PNAU/Empire Of The Sun)

Multi-talented and multi-lingual Michael Holbrook Penniman, Jr. AKA Mika has just released the video to his new single "Celebrate" featuring Pharrell Williams of N*E*R*D* and Neptunes fame. The track, the first English single to be taken from his forthcoming third album "The Origin of Love" (the first being the French-only release of "Elle Me Dit"), is a hugely upbeat, bouncy and retro-tinged dance-pop number with elements harking back to Discovery-era Daft Punk thanks to the brilliant production from PNAU and Empire Of The Sun member Nick Littlemore, fresh from his work on Usher's album "Looking 4 Myself" and his remix work of Elton John's back catalogue. This is a great slice of happy pop music that will no doubt make you smile - and perhaps sing along too!

Swedish House Mafia - Don't You Worry Child

After recently revealing to dance music lovers everywhere that they will soon cease to exist as a group, Swedish House Mafia AKA Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello have just premiered perhaps their final single together "Don't You Worry Child" in a world exclusive on Pete Tong's Friday night show. The track has already become hugely popular thanks to dropping the track in a few of their recent sets in Milton Keynes and at Tomorrowland. Perhaps their most euphoric release yet, the pulsating dance track features soaring vocals from John Martin and a huge piano and synth-driven riff that will no doubt storm dancefloors across the world. One thing's for sure SHM are definitely going out on a bang!

Deadmau5 Feat. Gerard Way (Of My Chemical Romance) - Professional Griefers

Canadian superstar DJ Joel Zimmerman AKA Deadmau5 is about to release his new single after recently releasing soaring euphoric track "The Veldt". After collaborating with Rob Swire of Pendulum on "Ghosts N Stuff" which hit No. 12 on the UK chart in October 2009, he has now teamed up with My Chemical Romance lead singer Gerard Way for his new single "Professional Griefers". The highly-anticipated track received its premiere on Pete Tong's Radio 1 show at the beginning of the month. "Professional Griefers" is largely a typical Deadmau5 track with thumping house beats and a catchy synth-hook, set-off with Gerard's trademark aggressive vocal-style and an anthemic stadium-ready chorus. This collaboration really does work and will no doubt be storming dancefloors over the coming months. Enjoy!

Ne-Yo - Let Me Love You (Until You Learn To Love Yourself)

US R&B sensation Shaffer Chimere Smith AKA Ne-Yo is about to release the first single "Let Me Love You (Until You Learn To Love Yourself)" from his fifth studio album R.E.D. (Realizing Every Dream). The track very much conforms to the singer's recent highly successful foray into Dance-influenced R&B ("Closer", "Beautiful Monster" - both UK No. 1 singles) and is produced by long-time collaborators Stargate. Co-written with David Guetta (Titanium) and Flo-Rida (Wild Ones) collaborator Sia Furler and rumour-has-it UK dance stalwart Mike Di Scala from Scouse house legends Ultrabeat ("Pretty Green Eyes"), "Let Me Love You" is a thumping dance track with a euphoric synth hook and looks set to replicate his recent chart success here in the UK.

Fazer - Killer

Another one-third of N-Dubz is about to go solo! After having production credits on both Dappy and Tulisa's huge UK No. 1 records "No Regrets" and "Young", its time for Fazer's own debut solo single "Killer". A thumping club record, with euphoric trance synths and Fazer's largely auto-tuned vocals, "Killer" fits right into the hugely popular current trend of dance music ruling the charts. However, this track catches you off guard - when you expect it to break down into a huge trance instrumental section (similar to "Young"), it hits with an interesting squelchy dubstep section (tame in dubstep terms)! At the end though we are rewarded with a true "hands in the air" moment which will no doubt send club-goers bonkers! Me-thinks a hat-trick of solo No. 1 records from N-Dubz.....enjoy!!

Amelia Lily - You Bring Me Joy

The third contestant from last year's X Factor to premiere new material is Middlesborough lass Amelia Lily. After being eliminated in the first round by mentor Kelly Rowland, Amelia Lily managed to find her way back into the contest after Frankie Cocozza's antics off-screen led to him being asked to leave the show. Proving a popular contestant for the rest of the show, Amelia Lily managed to make it to the final and ended up in 3rd place after winners Little Mix and runner-up Marcus Collins. Now, after signing a 3-album deal with Sony subsidiary Xenomania, a production and writing house famous for churning out many of Girls Aloud's biggest hits, Amelia Lily is about to release her debut single "You Bring Me Joy". A thumping, melancholic piece of electro-pop with an infectious bassline and chorus, the track certainly fits into the P!nk / Katy Perry genre that so suited her......a surefire hit over the coming months! Enjoy!

Misha B - Home Run

20 year-old Kelly Rowland-mentored Misha Bryan AKA Misha B is the latest X Factor 2011 alumnus to release material with her debut single "Home Run". Produced by MNEK (The Saturdays, Tinie Tempah), the track is the first to be taken from her forthcoming debut album and is a hard-hitting bouncy R&-flavoured number full of attitude with a catchy chorus showing off Misha's soulful and impressive vocals, often reminiscent of Jennifer Hudson's. With Misha signing a publishing deal with Sony/ATV Music Publishing last month, "Home Run" looks to set the charts alight over the next few months after its radio premiere on 1Xtra. Enjoy!

Karmin - Brokenhearted

New-kids-on-the-block Karmin AKA Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan came to the attention of L.A. Reid's Epic label last year after posting very successful covers of Chris Brown's "Look At Me Now" and Nicki Minaj's "Superbass" onto YouTube. "Brokenhearted" is the first offering from the US Pop duo's introductory EP "Hello". Produced by Ke$ha, Katy Perry and Jessie J collaborators Cirkut and Dr. Luke, the track is a supremely catchy and slick slice of electro-pop, complimented by Heidemann's Ke$ha-style rapping abilities and a huge chorus that you'll no doubt be singing for quite a while! "Brokenhearted" has already hit the top 20 in the US, Canada and New Zealand and I predict big things for this track in the UK top 40 in the months to come! Enjoy :)

Loreen - Euphoria (Sweden Eurovision 2012 Winner)

On Saturday night Sweden managed to pick up 372 points with "Euphoria" by Loreen and won the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku. Not long after, the track rocketed up iTunes charts across Europe, where it currently sits at the top in no less than 10 countries, including the UK. A huge, euphoric dance track with many a hands-in-the-air moment, the track was overwhelming favourite from the start, and received the most 12 points ever. If the radio and TV stations pick this up and support it, I can see Loreen charting very highly on the UK top 40 this weekend. Enjoy!

Florence + The Machine - Spectrum (Calvin Harris Remix)

Florence + The Machine are about to release the 5th single to be taken from their second album Ceremonials, which hit No. 1 back in October last year. "Spectrum", with its soaring vocals and anthemic chorus has already received the bootleg treatment from many DJs including Avicii and David Guetta. Now, for its official release, the track has received the remix treatment from none other than in-demand producer Calvin Harris, turning it into a huge club tune with a house-influenced piano riff. This is an absolute tune people - so enjoy!

Thursday, 17 May 2012

Stooshe - Black Heart

New-kids-on-the-block Stooshe are about to release the second single "Black Heart", to be taken from their debut album "Swings & Roundabouts". The soulful girl-group with attitude who "bring a different edge to pop" (Mistajam) first hit the UK charts back in March with their provocative debut single "F*** Me/Love Me" featuring Gym Class Heroes rapper Travie McCoy. "Black Heart" is a little bit more vulnerable and restrained and shows off the soulful vocals of the trio. The track features an anthemic chorus and a retro Motown-style backing track accompanied with some luscious strings. Overall a very classy number that I predict will do big things in the UK chart in the months to come! Enjoy!

Aiden Grimshaw (X Factor 2010 Contestant) - Is This Love

Can everyone remember the rather unique performer Aiden Grimshaw from X Factor 2010? Well he's back and well and truly ready to be launched into the pop world! After signing with RCA, the Simon Cowell alumnus is about to release his debut single "Is This Love" taken from his debut album "Misty Eye", to be released on August 13. Far away from the bubblegum pop and mainstream releases from other contestants such as One Direction, JLS and Olly Murs, Grimshaw has come up with arguably the best lead single to come from an X Factor contestant. The track shows off his soaring vocals and profound lyrics whilst the backing track, a piano and synth driven thumping Drum & Bass-esque beat accompanies the dark alternative-style promo. Enjoy!

Modestep - Show Me A Sign

London-based UK dubstep group Modestep first burst onto the UK scene with their top 40 hit "Feel Good" back in February 2011. Their second single "Sunlight" managed to do even better than that and chart at 16 in August last year. The fourth single to be taken from their debut album "Evolution Theory" is "Show Me A Sign" and is due to be released on Sunday. Another anthemic and hard-hitting slice of the ever-so-current genre of dubstep, the track is accompanied with a striking and high budget comic-inspired promo, which has already seen 2 million hits since its release on YouTube last month. For dubstep lovers out there, this is a must! Enjoy!

Cheryl - Call My Name (Produced by Calvin Harris)

Former Girls Aloud star and X Factor judge Cheryl Cole, now going under the new shorter name of 'Cheryl', has experienced a successful solo career since the release of her debut single "Fight For This Love" back in October 2009, which sold over 300,000 copies in one week. Two No. 1 multi-platinum albums and 3 more UK Top 10 hits including the No. 1 hit single "Promise Me", have solidified Cheryl as one of the UK's hottest female solo artists. The first single to be taken from her 3rd album "A Million Lights" due to be released June 18 is the Calvin Harris-produced "Call My Name". A typical Harris production, not too dissimilar to his worldwide No. 1 hit with Rihanna "We Found Love", the catchy hands-in-the-air euphoric dance track (featuring Calvin's trademark "disco gunshot") is no doubt going to do big things on the Official UK Top 40 when it is released on June 18. Enjoy!

Thursday, 19 April 2012

Dot Rotten - Overload (Samples "Children" by Robert Miles)

UK rapper/producer Joseph Ellis AKA Dot Rotten is about to release his third single "Overload". The TMS produced dubstep-influenced track features a huge sample that everyone will instantly recognise; the huge UK No. 2 hit "Children" by Robert Miles from way back in 1996. It's an interesting and emotive spin on a quintessential club classic. The track, due for UK release on May 28, was selected on March 26 as Zane Lowe's Hottest Record In The World and looks to wreak havoc on the upper echelons of the UK chart over the next month. Enjoy!

Paloma Faith - Picking Up The Pieces

Multi-talented half Spanish songstress Paloma Faith first burst onto the British music scene back in 2009 with her debut top 20 single "Stone Cold Sober" taken from her platinum-selling debut album "Do You Want The Truth Or Something Beautiful?". Since then Paloma scored a top 15 hit with "New York" and had roles in St. Trinian's and the Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. The first single to be taken from her forthcoming sophomore album "Fall To Grace" is the stunning "Picking Up The Pieces". Produced by Massive Attack, Bjork and Madonna collaborator Nellee Hooper, the track features lush strings and brass ensembles that complement Paloma's brilliant unique voice. The accompanying video features lavish visuals and is a perfect accompaniment to this stunning record! Check out the amazing artwork for "Fall To Grace" as well....it's quite something! Enjoy :)

The Wanted - Chasing The Sun (Produced by Example)

UK boyband The Wanted first burst onto the scene back in July 2010 when their debut single "All Time Low" was a No. 1 smash, selling over 400,000 copies in the process. Since then, they've had two top 10 albums and a further 4 top 3 singles including "Heart Vacancy" and "Lightning" and the Summer No. 1 smash "Glad You Came", which managed to break the band stateside, and managed to climb to No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and sell over 1m copies. The band's next single doesn't feature on the sophomore release "Battleground", leading some to believe that the LP will be re-released with additional tracks. "Chasing The Sun" is another hands in the air Ibiza-style dance track. Very much a "Glad You Came" Pt. 2, the Example-penned track certainly echoes the sound of its writer, and will no doubt be another chart smash for the boys! Enjoy!

Monday, 26 March 2012

Rita Ora Feat. Tinie Tempah - R.I.P. (Produced by Chase & Status)

Kosovan-born Rita Ora first hit the UK charts last month as the vocalist on DJ Fresh's UK No. 1 single "Hot Right Now". Signed to hip-hop legend Jay-Z's RocNation label, Rita is about to release her debut UK solo single; R.I.P. Featuring song-writing credentials from Drake, production from UK D&B/Dubstep stalwarts Chase & Status, a verse from the hottest UK hip-hop export at the moment Tinie Tempah and a catchy sample from Nneka's "Heartbeat" (a track which Chase & Status remixed, propelling it into the UK top 20 in September 2009), the track has all the markings of a massive smash! Enjoy :)

The Fazer produced track received its first play on Chris Moyles' breakfast show this morning (23/03/12) and  is a huge Ibiza-influenced dance number with club synths and a pulsating house beat, guaranteed to get you on the floor and put your hands up! I predict big things for this track over the next couple of months! Enjoy :)

Calvin Harris Feat. Ne-Yo - Let's Go

Scottish DJ and producer Calvin Harris has had a very good year; becoming 2011's highest selling songwriter thanks to his huge worldwide No. 1 hit with Rihanna, We Found Love and scoring UK top 3 hits with his solo material in the form of "Bounce" featuring Kelis and "Feel So Close", which both just missed out on hitting No. 1 on the UK top 40. His new single, a typical hands in the air affair featuring US R&B sensation Ne-Yo (So Sick, Closer, Beautiful Stranger) "Let's Go" received its first play on Pete Tong's Radio 1 show on Friday in the form of its Calvin Harris Remix, while the original mix got it's first play on Steve Smart's show on Kiss. I tip this one to do big things!

Far East Movement Feat. Justin Bieber - Live My Life

"Like A G6" hitmakers Far East Movement have teamed with none other than Canadian teen sensation Justin Bieber on their new single "Live My Life". Produced by in-demand producer RedOne (Lady GaGa, Michael Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Alexandra Burke, One Direction) the track is a hands-in-the-air club affair with a catchy chorus and bouncy beat which will no doubt be a future dancefloor filler!

Nicki Minaj - Starships (Produced by RedOne)

Signed to Lil Wayne's Cash Money Records, Trinidadian rapper Nicki Minaj has come a long way since appearing on Young Money's "Bedrock" as a featured artist. Nicki has emerged as one of the biggest talents in hip-hop out there at the moment. With a plethora of appearances on tracks by artists such as David Guetta, Jay Sean, Drake and Rihanna as well as a multi-platinum album under her belt, it seems that the sky is the limit for this innovative and eccentric female rapper. The first official single to be taken from her second album "Roman Reloaded" is a step in a different direction for Minaj, into the uncharted territory of the mainstream 'club banger'. Away from the fundamentally hip-hop cuts from her debut offering, RedOne produced "Starships" is an infectiously catchy hands in the air electro-pop affair with a Katy Perry-esque guitar riff and massive dance breakdown. I predict big things for this track!

StooShe Feat. Travie McCoy - Love Me (F**k Me)

Signed to Warner Music UK last year, London three-piece girl band StooShe, nominated for the BBC's Sound of 2012 poll, are about to release the second single to be taken from their as-yet-untitled debut album. "Love Me" (or the potty-mouth version "F**k Me") featuring US rapper Travie McCoy is a decidedly retro affair with a supremely catchy chorus and bridge while the girls' boisterous and raunchy lyrics leave little to the imagination. Gym Class Heroes' McCoy adds little to the track except to boost the effervescent attitude that StooShe so clearly exude! These girls are definitely one to watch! Enjoy :) 8/10

Jakwob Feat. Jetta - Electrify

British Dubstep DJ and producer James Jacob AKA Jakwob has garnered much attention for his remix productions for artists such as Ellie Goulding, Robyn and Jessie J. "Electrify" is the new single from the Lincoln-based multi-instrumentalist and features vocals from Jetta. The track is an eclectic mix of 90s style samples with  electro, breakbeat and of course dubstep elements. This is an absolutely brilliant track and I throughly recommend you check it out! Enjoy :)

Tinchy Stryder Feat. Pixie Lott - Bright Lights

UK grime sensation Tinchy Stryder and Pixie Lott, both no strangers to chart success with 5 UK No. 1 singles between them, have teamed up on this track "Bright Lights". The anthemic track will feature on Tinchy's 3rd studio album to be released later this year and is the 2nd track to be taken from it, following the Calvin Harris collaboration "Broken Record" released last year. Part II of the track, an ever more popular trend nowadays following the success of Alicia Keys' "Empire State of Mind Part II (Broken Down)" in January 2010, features on Pixie's sophomore record "Young Foolish Happy" and features Pixie on lead vocals with a piano background. This version of the track however is the only one that will receive official release as a single. Pixie's infectious vocals and Tinchy's unmistakeable rapping talents combine perfectly here to create a track that will undoubtedly be troubling the higher reaches of the UK chart in months to come! Enjoy!

Cher Lloyd Feat. Astro - Want U Back

X Factor alumnus Cher Lloyd hit No. 1 with her debut single "Swagger Jagger" in July last year followed by her  UK No. 4 second single "With Ur Love" featuring "Cooler Than Me" singer Mike Posner and the release of her debut album "Sticks + Stones" in November. Following her signing to L.A. Reid's Epic label in the USA, the third track to be taken from the album is the Shellback produced "Want U Back" featuring an extra verse from X Factor USA rapper Astro. The infectious track no doubt is a precursor to release across the pond, with L.A. Reid proclaiming that Cher is "going to huge in the states in 2012". Enjoy!
